Quilt Making
Enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels Quilt making is a fun and rewarding activity. Quilts can be made in many different ways.
Things you need to consider:
Where are you going to place the quilt?
The color - Will it go into an active or quiet room? Yellows and blues are nice colors for a quiet room while oranges, reds and blacks give an active room some personality.
What style do you want to create? Geometric or open and relaxed?
Are you going to make a patchwork quilt or use embroidery or applique on the quilt? Applique is a type of decorative needlework that involves cutting out pieces of one fabric and sewing or otherwise applying them to the surface of another fabric.
Look to your surroundings for ideas.
If you're a beginner perhaps purchasing a quilt kit would be a good way to start out?
